Life is a Party

In celebration of Dana's birthday our family went on a Mt. Timpanogos cave tour.
Mom isn't a rule follower and kept trying to touch everything.
The great city of Lehi had its annual Foam Day. Of course we showed up to celebrate, we couldn't let the little kids have all the fun!
The firemen had it out to get us.
Alyssa is a year older and I made cupcakes to celebrate!
The girls were really into the food.

My summer is coming to a close at an alarming pace and I'm not ready for real life just yet.

No Reservations

Road trip to St. George!
Nate, Veronica, Jeff, and I went on an impromptu vacation to Grandma Parkinson's house. Our trip had several failures but we learned a lot and laughed even more.

There was cliff jumping and swimming at Sand Hollow.
Many golf cart rides.
(My favorite minus the encounter with a skunk)
Golfing lessons.
An intense game of mini golf where I took last place.
Rock climbing and hiking.
The epitome of grace when I slipped and fell at the top of the huge water slide.
Getting a tour of fire station #8.
We watched an awesome movie, ate ice cream, dealt with car trouble, and pushed a golf cart uphill. Not to mention all of the Oreos and inside jokes we shared. I'm lucky to have such cool friends.

Extreme

This week I had the opportunity to volunteer on Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. It was an incredible experience!
Yes, yes that is Ty Pennington with his arm around me.
And I met Xzibit.
And I'm going to be on national television.
Awesome.

Happiness

I recently got this email:

"I was thinking about you today and how much you would love Spain! This city never sleeps."

It made my day.

Sitting Around a Camp Fire

This weekend I went camping in Great Basin National Park. We explored the caves and had a great trip.
I've never been so happy to be short!

The Bottom Line

My sister is cuter than your sister.
We are experts at lattices.
There are swimsuits with fringe on them.
If you try to hide your dirty dishes in the oven, someone will turn it on and melt them.

Jeff doesn't listen and sat in dog poop. Haha!

I act like a five year old in the wave pool at Seven Peaks Resort. It has been mentioned by multiple people that I'm embarrassing to go with.
